One sunny morning, a small baby monkey was playing happily near the trees. He was curious about everything around him. While exploring the ground, he found a bright red chili. The baby monkey had never seen a chili before. He thought it looked delicious, like a sweet fruit.
Without knowing the danger, the little monkey picked up the chili and took a big bite. At first, he chewed it happily. A few seconds later, his face changed. The chili was very hot! His mouth started to burn, and his tongue felt like fire. The baby monkey became scared and confused.
“Eeek! Eeek!” he cried loudly. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he rubbed his mouth with his tiny hands. The burning feeling would not go away. He ran around in circles, crying harder and harder. The poor baby monkey did not understand why the red fruit hurt so much.
Nearby, his mother was resting with the monkey family. The baby monkey quickly ran toward her, hoping for comfort. He knew that milk always made him feel safe and happy. He cried beside his mother and tried to get some milk. However, his mother was busy and did not immediately let him drink.
The little monkey cried even louder. His mouth was still hot from the chili, and he wanted milk to cool it down. He stayed close to his mother, looking sad and helpless. Finally, after hearing his cries, the mother monkey gently hugged him and allowed him to nurse.
Slowly, the baby monkey calmed down. The milk helped him feel better, and the burning sensation faded away. From that day on, the baby monkey learned an important lesson: not every colorful thing is safe to eat. He would be much more careful before tasting unknown food again.
