Sweet Pea was feeling very playful and mischievous. She kept running around, pulling tails, and teasing the other young monkeys. At first, everyone ignored her tricks, but Sweet Pea continued causing trouble wherever she went.
Popeye was trying to rest quietly under a tree. However, Sweet Pea would not leave him alone. She jumped around him, tugged at his fur, and even snatched a small leaf he was playing with. Popeye became annoyed by all the teasing. Finally, after losing his patience, Popeye suddenly bit Sweet Pea quite hard.
Sweet Pea cried loudly in surprise and quickly ran toward her mum. Her tears and screams attracted the attention of the whole monkey family. Mum rushed over immediately to see what had happened. When she saw Sweet Pea upset and crying, she became very protective. She confronted Popeye and chased him away from her baby.
For a few moments, there was a noisy commotion among the monkeys. Mum defended Sweet Pea while Popeye stayed at a distance. The older monkeys watched carefully until everyone finally calmed down. Sweet Pea hid close to her mum, feeling safer in her arms.
Meanwhile, another big baby monkey nearby had a different problem. All the excitement had made him feel very hungry. He crawled toward his mother and searched for milk. The hungry baby clung tightly to her chest and eagerly began nursing. As he drank, he slowly relaxed and became comfortable again.
Soon the tension disappeared from the group. Sweet Pea stopped crying, Popeye settled down, and the hungry baby was satisfied with his milk. The monkey family returned to their normal activities, enjoying a peaceful afternoon together after a busy and dramatic morning.
