Please come back soon because I miss you so much.

His little stomach rumbled loudly, and his eyes filled with tears. The baby had been waiting for his mother since early morning, but she had not returned yet. Every sound in the forest made him look up with hope, thinking it might be her.

The young monkey felt weak and tired. Usually, whenever he was hungry, his mother would hold him close and give him warm milk. She always protected him and made him feel safe. But today, everything felt different. The forest seemed bigger, and the baby felt very small and lonely.

As the hours passed, the baby monkey continued to call out, “Mummy, please come back! I need milk. I’m so hungry.” His cries echoed through the trees. Some birds stopped to watch him, while a few older monkeys glanced in his direction. Yet none of them could comfort him the way his mother could.

The little monkey hugged himself tightly and tried to be brave. He remembered how his mother would gently groom his fur and cuddle him when he was scared. Thinking about those happy moments made him miss her even more.

Finally, after what seemed like a very long time, the baby spotted a familiar figure moving through the trees. It was his mother returning at last. His sad face instantly brightened with joy. He rushed toward her as fast as his tiny legs could carry him.

The mother monkey wrapped her arms around her baby and held him close. The hungry little monkey quickly settled beside her, feeling safe once again. His cries stopped, and his heart filled with happiness. At that moment, he knew that no matter how far she went, his mummy would always come back to him.
